happy birthday, Kevin!
Today was Kevin's birthday -- he turned nine. I think he had a good day... recognition at church this morning, his choice of Sunday dinner (stuffed-crust pizza), and a tiny party including ![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
sarahh (who made a scratch angel-food cake... mm) and tenacious_snail (who brought *4* different flavors of ice cream!), as well as those of us living under this roof. Afterward, Sarah departed and dropped James off to see A., while I took Kevin and David and Les to Great America (second day in a row, good thing we have season passes). There, Kevin dictated which rides and seating in which order... he seemed happy. Until David's next birthday, the two younger boys now have the same bedtime (9pm in summer).
