So my decision not to volunteer to do the training was probably a good idea? (at least I won't have to try not to laugh at the teacher)..

Well, the instructor serves in the Naval Reserve in counterintelligence and as an interrogator (I wondered to myself if he knew [personal profile] pecunium). He has also served stints working with the US Coast Guard, including operations, like, um, boarding ships and interrogating their, um, crews... ;^).

He was amused that you were our sysadmin, but commented that you undoubtedly knew how to do C3I to remote locations.
