sigh...

Pat fell down yesterday while leaning on a laundry cart, bruised her *other* leg, and now can barely walk at all. Sigh. Today... I need to put away the 8 loads of laundry from yesterday, get James a bike and helmet, clean the living room and bathrooms, clean out my bedroom and put my winter clothes in storage, feed Pat and the kids, take James to and from church several times (he's playing drums at all three services today), and repair David's dresser drawer.

And [profile] patgreene is annoyed with me because I injured my right shoulder three weeks ago on Devon Island when trying to lift ATVs out of the mud, can only hold things in certain positions without shooting pain, and haven't bothered to tell her (or anyone else) in the meantime. I figured that she had enough problems on her own, with her knee... IMO she should be glad that I'm functional-enough to cover, instead.

Yeah, I think it's time to enlist the kids into some chores.

And, well, yeah, I'd be upset too, if Dan would have kept an injury from me like that. And it's good that your funtional, but she still needed to know that you've been hurt, so that she can be concerned for you the way you've been concerned for her. 2-way street, you know? Hell, even with Dan having to take care of me since I have pneumonia I've been conscious of his bronchitis so that I don't over tax him.

Have you had your shoulder looked at by a doctor?
