I have quite a few LJ comments to answer, some slides to finish and a paper to write... but I'm going to bed now instead. 2am, here, and I've only slept in four of the past 56 hours. Good night...
He *is* an incredibly sweet, lovable, wonderful guy. I'd be happy to gush about that at great length.
But it is actually the painting that I'm looking forward to seeing. I have no idea where the painting is...I am thinking it was was a birthday present for Jay, and I've only been to his house once since then-- for Kevin's birthday party. Which, as you might imagine, had a certain level of chaos and fun and nine-year-old-ness to it. So "look at the cool portrait my mother painted" didn't happen yet.
Not sure if you knew that I was going to Spain, but I certainly am counting down the days (16 or 17 until I see Jay. 15 until I leave California, 16 until I arrive in Madrid).
