I have photos, and was going to post something longer, but I'm grumpy for various reasons with most of my folks over here, a bit tired and it is nearly 2am. Going to bed instead. Feh.
I am *this* fed up with simultaneously being expected to caretake at the same time as having my judgement or directions second-guessed. Attempting to be polite, considerate, and positive does not make me a pushover, or a nanny, and while the lines may be padded and pleasantly painted, they are firm underneath. Everyone here on my team *is* here because I valued their skills and potential contributions enough to invite them to participate.

You said it! I know how you feel. Yes, I choose to be nice, polite, gentle, positive, loving and compassionate. That does not mean here is the line, here is where you stepped, and this is going to be handled in a continued nice, polite, gentle, positive, loving and compassionate fashion, with steel underneath that soft fuzzy silk and velvet.
