In Rio Tinto...

Everyone is here, Casiano still cooks well, the equipment is in place, and it is 107F during daytimes... no net access at the cottage yet, I'm borrowing Casiano's net.

Wow, that is some hot weather! Glad the food is good this time.

Yay for good food!

Good food will help make it a much better trip I bet. I remember you could not eat too much in the Arctic. Nice of him to share his net access. 107F is a wee bit too hott for me ;) Don't forget the sunscreen. That would be quite a sunburn!

I'm using your weather to quiet our children when they complain about the heat. : ) "You think 91 is hot? Where Dad is it's 107!"

Hang in there and try to keep cool.

BTW: I met the PR/media person for the Ames center director tonight at the Space 2005 conference, Lisa Some-Hyphenate-or-Other, and I mentioned that I knew you. She said that the director was pretty happy with what you folks were doing both in the Far North and at Rio Tinto. It makes the whole center look good. Just thought you'd like to know.
