Two weeks ago, I was wandering around Amsterdam, having just arrived there from Munich and the hospital.
Three weeks ago, I was here, finishing with the communications setup tests and preparing to go to Munich.
Four weeks ago, I was on an airplane, outbound from home.
Now: I'm sitting at Pena del Hierro, on a hilltop in a tent where we are running drilling tests.tenacious_snail is wandering in Rio Tinto. Tomorrow we'll head to Gibraltar, Ronda, stay in Tarifa and do the Tangier day trip before returning here, then Les leaves Monday early for home.
A week from now: I expect to be here, celebrating a successful end to the field season.
Two weeks from now: I hope to be home in California, going out with my dearpatgreene and seeing my kids.
Three weeks from now: I expect to be on another airplane, headed to Tokyo.
Four weeks from now: In Fukuoka, Japan at the end of the International Astronautical Conference.
Five weeks from now: very tired, at home. :)
