I'm putting together one proposal, helping with two others, under time pressure. My online responses will be infrequent, and I have two large chips on my shoulder and am ready to bite the head off of anyone that crosses me here. Even more counter-suggestive than usual. Anyone that pushes me is even less likely to gain cooperation than usual... and I'm in a mood to hunker down, circle the wagons, and defy any given orthodoxy or social or work cultural pressures. And I have a splitting headache, probably from sleep deprivation and low blood sugar. Anyone considering approaching me has been warned...

You are cared for by many. Writing grants is a pain in the neck. Please schedule some sleep when you get the next chance. Take care of yourself, as much as possible with the Grant Schedule Of Doom!
