Before we headed back up I-75 to Atlanta, we stopped by the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary and made our annual donation... it is educational for the kids, both in seeing different marine birds and raptors, and in noting their human-caused injuries as evidence of environmental impacts. And they have a lovely unspoiled stretch of beach, which I'm including here purely because I like the framing... :).

Returning to Atlanta, we hurriedly finished shopping. Including a pilgrimage by Pat to the Bed, Bath and Beyond store in Marietta, GA, below, more commonly known as the store that Alton Brown visits during gadget-cutaways in his TV cooking show (with... Q? W? something like that, I've never watched it myself...).

Christmas Eve... Pat and I went to a late-night Episcopal service in Marietta, at St. Catherine's. But earlier, we attended my brother's church's family service. Here's my brother Coby, my sister-in-law N. and nieces R. and Z. together on stage, lighting the wreath:
