Skating tonight

Four new moves: inverted T-stop, shoot-the-duck, half toe-walley jump, half toe-loop jump. As well as jump combinations (waltz jump-ballet jump, waltz jump-half toe walley). And my first few spins were much improved, I pumped my fist after the first one. :). And I started working on bigger jumps with more air and height.

After 80 minutes of this, I was worn out, despite ample endorphins. I took some tools over to [personal profile] tenacious_snail's, watched her put dining room chairs together, and fell asleep on her carpeted floor. I went home and have been dozing intermittently since.

I'm happy, too. Third chair was finished after you left, and I'm waiting until a decent hour of the morning to use the power tools.

You definitely seemed excited re the new things you learned in class, and I am impressed that you could (sorta) demo them in the kitchen, with the dishwasher open.

There, they're just another set of dance moves... :)

Yay new jumps!

And yay for a tenacious snail who is now closeby enough for you to visit after skating!

She gets to see me more often, but in bits and pieces and in non-date mode (tired, sleepy, cranky, etc)...

wanna come over and drill me? Either tonight or tomorrow morning, but at a time that the noise won't disturb the neighbors?

(or I can borrow it again after you finish your project. Hanging a curtain rod is not a time-sensitive project).
