Okay, looks like we'll get a refund on both state and federal returns... assisted by $18K in medical expenses, as well as mortgage interest deductions. I'm just relieved that we don't owe a few hundred, instead.
Actually, now I wish I'd done them a month ago, and the proceeds would then have neatly covered the $2200 in property taxes due tomorrow... (wry grin).
