jayToday was dirty and dusty and wet at times... but I have some sense of accomplishment. As well as egg-size bruises on my shins and feeling tired. But the main bathroom's toilet is back and isn't leaking anymore, and I have bright and shiny new cabinet lights in place.
The former problem could be traced to a broken flange, and corroded bolts, so there was effectively nothing besides gravity holding it in place. I installed a metal reinforcement plate, new bronze bolts and a extra-thick wax gasket, and that seemed to do it.
The latter... I installed LED strings as interior lights in the hanging glass cabinet, and halogen under-cabinet lights in a stainless light bar. I think it looks quite spiffy. :)
