I just can't find the SPECint95 or SPECfp95 values for a PowerPC 750... from anything other than some Russian website. SPEC itself is no help, even if I know the webmistress well... I know that IBM or Motorola published these in the late 90s.... sigh.

SPEC will only help if IBM or Motorola submitted them to SPEC to be published. Try this.
