Anniversaries, not pandemonium

jayYesterday... patgreene and I celebrated our 23rd anniversary. Which is older than I was when we married. tenacious_snail helped me choose flowers, and Pat used her birthday present from Les: two TBD theatre tickets. We went to see "25th Putnam County Spelling Bee" and Pat interacted with the players. It was fun! And we had a nice dinner afterwards at Scala's near Union Square.
It has been a year for us with lots of external stresses... illnesses, layoff threats, funerals, school issues. But obstacles overcome, and new experiences too.
Today... I've been working at home, getting a shipment together and sent off to the Arctic. It's a two-year anniversary fortenacious_snail and I (I lost the bet, happily ;) and we'll go out tonight after I go with Pat to an early-evening wedding reception for our church's assistant pastor M.
