jayNot shaping up as a good day... received another research proposal rejection, that's the third this week. Historically, my accept/reject ratio has been about 1:2, but this year I'm currently batting zero-for-five.
On top of this, I just discovered that the NASA travel office forgot to hold my reservations between Edmonton and Resolute, pending ticket issue, and now the seats are apparently gone. They admit their screwup, but it doesn't get me to Resolute. Grumble...

From what you've said, though, at least two of those proposals weren't funded because *none* were funding, not because they don't merit it.
