Tuesday night gathering?

I was contemplating holding an Election Night gathering at my home in Mountain View, after the polls closed... thus far I have a minimal response. Is anyone up for it? If there isn't interest, that's fine but I need to know in time to cancel...

If you do host this, how late do you anticipate it continuing? (and is it feasible to have folks over given how much time we've spent taking apart your kitchen lately?)

The kitchen is functional again, I reattached the sink this evening. I'd expect it to go to 10-ish...

Unforunately, I think that I will be so beat from working the polls all day that I'm going to want to do nothing other than come home and crash. That's what happened last time, and there were many fewer voters, and I wasn't actually in charge like I am this time.

Thanks for the heads-up. :)

I might stop by, but probably not for terribly long...

Feel free to stop by anytime before 10...

nuts...sadly, I will most likely be working. Have fun though if you do hold said gathering.

Thanks. :)

I would be up for it... I'd enjoy hearing Pat's perspective on the different political happenings as they unfolded that evening.

That would be cool

But last Caltrain --> last BART to get back to the East Bay probably kills it for me. Too bad. It'd be fun.

Where in the east bay would you be headed?

A few blocks away from the 19th St BART stop. That's 19th & Broadway.

*nods* I live in Oakland, so if they do end up holding the gathering I can give you a ride home. (I couldn't offer a ride to the gathering, though, as I'd be coming from work in SF).

I'd have time to navigate the transit morass to get there, so that would work. Spiffy!

Let me know if you'd like a pickup from the station, and when.

What is your closest Caltrain stop anyway?

San Antonio is in walking distance, or Mountain View...
