Poked and prodded...

Had my annual blood panel and physical this morning... my weight is unchanged from a year ago (actually, a pound less), hearing is slightly better, vision is unchanged except for slightly higher intraocular pressure. Blood pressure is still slightly high, as it was a year ago. And after yesterday's blood drive, I now have two bandages on my arm... results due back in a week. They include glucose, cholesterol, liver, thyroid, and kidney panels, as well as STI screening. And it covers my FAA 2nd-class medical renewal, which I've kept current despite not flying in years.

Wow, that *is* thorough.

It's cool that you can get all that done at one appointment. Those would probably be at least 3 separate appointments for me at Kaiser (vision / STI / generap physical), not counting transfers from physician to lab.
