In Washington now...

For most of this week. So far, so bad. Well, the hotel is nice, but part of my luggage was left by the doorman in the cab from National Airport. And they won't let me have an in-room coffeemaker, so breakfast is shot (can't make instant oatmeal). And I have to go spend $250 on a new navy blazer tomorrow morning, and get the alterations done by Tuesday. And whatever social plans I thought I had here look to be pancaking... maybe I'll just go to Dupont Circle and order pizza tomorrow or Wednesday.

(sigh) Looks like I'll miss you, because I'm in Washington, DC. In any case, I'd be back home by Friday... otherwise, I'd have been willing to meet you at the airport. And thanks for the hug :-).
