Pyramid power

Tonight i'm in Las Vegas, enroute at 5am to Winslow for some field tests. I'm staying in the Luxor, a hotel shaped like an Egyptian pyramid... it is actually less expensive that the hotel in Winslow tomorrow. This city is a bit strange... and it gets stranger to me every time I visit (admittedly, that's only once every five years or so).

I wasn't able to say hello to luvlyrita while I was here, but I still had fun talking to geekchick and runeshower, ogling the architecture, and I won $110.00 on a ten-cent slot machine. On my third pull (grin)... and then I cashed-out for the evening.

sorry i missed you.....it's just a bad time
that and i'm out of town myself

i'm thinking about visiting california anyway
i'm thinking about moving someplace new and starting over
maybe we can hook up then, when i'm more ready
and in a better state of mind
i'm moody and teary right now
and not in the mood to party

(plus i fell on my ass
and have a HUGE, bloody scrape - ugh!)
