patgreene is still on an IV, oxygen and lots of painkillers... but she did get up and walk a little bit. No outside visitors other than J and myself this morning... I wonder where her church support group went. Oh, well... J has been fabulous -- she did our piles of backlogged laundry, changed Pat's bedsheets, watched 5 kids again today and helped me get my three kidlets to school this morning. I spent the day sitting at Pat's bedside.
I got back too late tonight (10pm) to go out for dessert with
sinboy and
hopeforyou.... disappointing, since I'd been looking forward to that since I'd been in the Arctic six weeks ago. Maybe next week.

Date: 2002-09-12 09:24 am (UTC)It's good to hear that Pat is up and walking around. The surgery had to have been the hardest part to handle because of all of the waiting and worrying when it took much longer than expected. I hope you can breathe a bit easier now and are getting some rest; the past couple days must have been exhausting. *hugs*

Date: 2002-09-12 10:55 am (UTC)I'm tired, and it's only 11am, and the house is a mess... I'm going over to the hospital now, until time to pick up the kids from school. But I'm far less stressed than a week ago, and thanks for asking!
