The day just got worse...

Sigh. Pat ruptured her abdominal incision, there's blood all over one of the bathrooms. I heard her screaming. We're at the emergency room now... she has stabilized, probably only lost a few ounces. Hopefully they won't have to send her back to the OR, but we won't know for about an hour. :-|

Oh, how awful. I send all my best wishes for Pat to be okay and get better as quickly as possible, and for lots of good medical care and pain relief in the meanwhile. And also a big boquet of vibes for you, for helping her and other family through this stressful time. Take care of yourself, too, sweetie.
