We're back from APC9...

jayAfter a somewhat-disappointing weekend in Boston. I occasionally feel like my head is going to explode from disorientation, and I'm a bit sore in places, but my life generally doesn't scrape... and it was good to meet a few new people in-person from the newsgroup.
Andpatgreene, geekchick, and Nancy collectively rock. Separately or together.
OTOH, Pat and I didn't get home until this afternoon, after being stranded overnight in Cleveland... ground crew delays plus weather caused us to miss our connection back to SFO. Then I just dropped off Nancy there, headed home to Minneapolis after a lovely afternoon.... and I'll finish by picking upclairaide in a few hours.
Although I felt mostly isolated-and-alone personally, it was still a good experience overall. And some of the panels were useful and engaging. And the food at the Decadent Sunday Brunch was fabulous :-).
Relationship-wise, goings-on simply followed existing relationships, on my side. And no one flirted with me or expressed any interest (not that I had any reason other than past history to expect such, granted). And I had one serious argument. One step outward, however, the constellations changed significantly and rapidly... I'm still processing. Generally good things happened to those around me, I think...
