Holiday plans

jayAnyone local looking for a welcoming environment over Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year's? patgreene and I and our kids will all be here over the end-of-year series of holidays, for the first time in several years. We'd be happy to have guests.
Also, I'm planning to use a couple of weeks of vacation between 12/20 and 1/6, if anyone would be interested in getting together on other days ...
(aside: on 12/7 I will have 15 years' service at NASA, which means I start earning 6+ weeks of vacation time per year, up from 4 weeks annually at present... which has been sufficient. I'll have to try to find reasons to take off from work... *).
