May. 8th, 2003 08:37 pmI don't follow a set pattern in daily life. One day is different in its content and timing from the previous... the next will be different still. For example, I never arrive at work at a consistent time... one day at 7, the next at 9:45, the next at 8:50. It depends on what is scheduled, and what else is going on on those mornings. It seems strange to think of living in a routine or pattern, doing the same things at the same times each day. It is hard to imagine enjoying a routine life... I like every day to be different, to force me to make conscious plans and choices every day.

Date: 2003-05-09 08:56 am (UTC)Actually, the only thing about my job that is routine is the hours. 7-5:30 Tuesday through Friday. I eat lunch when I get hungry, and I can select the tasks for the day (once I finish training), and then the routine is so very routine at home, but only because I'm boring!
