jayMy sweetie and LDR of the past three years (our anniversary is 2/7, we met at alt.polycon 4) is in the hospital tonight. In the cardiac unit, unexpectedly. She is too young for this! Early-40s is unexpected for women, especially with reasonable exercise, OK cholesterol and no comparable family history.
She had been feeling uncomfortable for a few days, then got better. I thought she had simply fought off some passing virus. Then Saturday she was almost too weak to help her mom paint, then felt tightness in her chest. After sleeping on it, it was worse, with chest pain added. So she and her husband went to the ER this morning, and she was admitted. A bunch of tests later, there's still no diagnosis, and she'll have a stress test tomorrow. She sounded *so* weak over the phone... I'm really stressed and worried.
