In other personal news...
Oct. 26th, 2003 08:25 amIn nine days, I've lost the four pounds that I gained in Spain. Some of that must have been retained water, and I'm still 7 lbs. over my long-term plateau weight. Reducing lunches to a piece of cheese has helped, as has lots of exercise over the past week. And I've tightened my arms and pecs with some weightlifting, and begun to get my abs back under control. Not back in shape by any means, but progress.

Date: 2003-10-26 12:34 pm (UTC)May I make a suggestion? With the exercise, a piece of cheese probably isn't all bad. But you might find that getting the same calories from a mixed salad which includes nuts, might be better for you overall? Nuts tend to have a lower proportion of saturated fat, and then there are added vitamins and minerals in the salad ingredients.
