It's 7am and I've already had my first call from JL. Sigh. Dratted timezone differences.

Well, in some contexts... if it were *you* calling at 7am, that would be a good thing ;-). If it's JL, it's just annoying. Telemarketers don't even start before 8.

(grin) I have it. I knew who was calling at 6:59am, and I picked up anyway... figuring that it must be important, or why else would he be calling me at home? As it is, he was just telling me about a meeting in northern Virginia on 11/13. It could have waited.

I think you need to express to this guy that he needs to use your home
number more judiciously, sparingly, or else he might find you not being at home quite as much.

I would never, never, NEVER call anyone at home before 7 AM (or really before 9 AM) if it's not an emergency. So you can feel free to turn the ringer off knowing that there's no possibility it would be me. ;)
