Back home with David and Kevin... the latter insisted on hitting one more street after his too-tired older brother went home. James and a friend are still out there, somewhere.

I spent the day mostly hanging out with hopeforyou at work... a staff meeting, more discussions, then quiet writing, then a late lunch, then a marsh walk, then more office stuff. She's much better than even a couple of weeks ago... on Wednesday, she was her old self again, back leading a technical meeting.

Tonight... put the kids to bed, then probably nothing. patgreene doesn't want to go out, but also wants me nearby, so... here I'll stay. Even though my beautiful student intern, SD, earlier today offered me a ticket to a midnight horror movie showing at Camera 7. But I'm neither a movie buff or a slasher fan. Back to checking candy for tampering...

Miscommunication, expectations, and just different needs have struck once again... and she's gone to bed. Time to stare at the walls...
