Remote summer job, anyone?
Mar. 4th, 2004 02:33 amOur camp on Devon Island is looking for a cook for a 6-week stint, or two people for 3-week postings. The job would entail feeding 20-30 people 3 meals daily, supervising the kitchen (incl. helpers), menu planning, and would get one day off per week. Pay would be $CDN 450/wk, roughly US$375/wk. No benefits other than working in a tent with space scientists and geologists, and medical care provided on the premises by the camp doctor. And transportation and costs to/from the camp, of course...
