jayUlp. Our homeowner's insurance is billed annually, due on the anniversary of our closing date (June 16). I discovered today that it didn't get paid... and last week, we had a serious grease fire with 8-foot flames, that could have burned down the house.

Date: 2004-07-01 04:52 pm (UTC)Somehow, our insurance didn't get paid, either. It's SUPPOSED to be billed to the Mortgage company, and wasn't. Fortunately, I noticed that something didn't look right about that bill, and called our insurance co. before it was overdue, so they could bill to the right place.
Glad things were all resolved without incident!!!
