compersive moments

Thanks to my beloved [profile] patgreene for helping to facilitate a lovely evening with [personal profile] geekchick! (bounce)

And possibly the weirdest Hallmark moment ever. ;)

I'm thankful, after all... ;)

I'm pretty sure they don't make cards for such occasions, but maybe they should; there's apparently some demand. ;)

yeah, well...

Can I stand in line for one of those Hallmark cards?

Not the same one, mind you, but I've got my own related take on things.

(I did, incidentally, get a lovely little email from points Further North this morning, to add to the lets-all-comperse-together scenario)

No? Well, damn. ;)

well, maybe my impression of the hallmark card was somewhat mistaken.

But if it helps, I'd be sending the card to you. (which might help clarify the content).

[livejournal.com profile] patgreene also deserves one from me. Not that I'm counting down the 70.5 hours-or-so. (grin)

Well, it was a slightly different context (an in-joke, as it were) that I was teasing about, but I definitely think there should be a line of thank you cards for partners' partners. =)

I don't think warm-up was required in that particular case. Remember, my request was for you to extinguish the situation, not to ignite it, so to speak.

Obviously my flirting technique needs some refining. Maybe I'll just go back to using The Icon[tm]. ;)

oooooh

now this is taking on an altogether different significance, and perhaps you'll have the same person sending *that same* hallmark card to you?

(blush)

Interesting... if I did in that case, the card could be sent either way... bi-directional, as it were.

The shoes looked even better in person. :) Not to mention those exposed ankles...

wait, wait, didn't *my* flirting with Brian start over shoes? And the relative value of flip flops and hiking boots?

(mind the [sock] gap)

I love that "mind the gap" I have a shirt that says mind the gap that I got while in london.

Hey! I was trying to get in touch with you to say "thank you" and let you know how much I appreciated your warmth and hugs last Friday night.
