jayThat was another 2.5-hour couples counselling session, going from 9:30pm-midnight. Whew. I feel drained and exhausted and kind of numb... I worked hard to stay present and not caretake, and Pat worked hard to not retreat inside herself, rant and yell, or just agree to anything I wanted. The upshot... a lot of deeper discussion around core-level compromises, and a few boundary tweaks proposed with OSOs.
