I had a fun time last night... [personal profile] tenacious_snail and I went to see the A's defeat the Royals, 4-0. Today... has been very domestic. Repairing the kids' bikes, cleaning the kitchen, tidying part of the garage, folding and putting away laundry. Both because we'll have a guest tomorrow night, and because we need to catch up with the deferred housework that [profile] patgreene would have done, but couldn't due to her knee injury. As well as my need to pack for Spain.

So, a rather dull and quiet Saturday night, here... I hope that [personal profile] geekchick and [personal profile] dawnd are enjoying their respective trips. Laundry is done, but it is too late here to go out... must think of something useful to occupy me besides inane self-referential LJ entries...

That's *really* obscure... :-P

yeah. Too obscure. Sorry about that. I sometimes forget you aren't inside my head.

The sprinkler reference though...I got that, and it made me go all melty. *schmoopy*

It was a dumb idea on my part. Never mind. (shakes head)

I have it on good authority that the guest doesn't care whether the house is clean.

Perhaps not, but school starts Tuesday and I need to pack anyway...

There are things to be said for dull and quiet Saturday nights, especially when the upcoming week will be busy!

I suppose... it is hard, I tend to be self-critical when there are voids, or gaps or just down-time in my schedule. Especially on weekends... I feel like a failure for not having *something* planned.

Sometimes it's nice to just be, and let my batteries recharge. Of course, YMMV :-)

(nods)
YMMV, certainly... just being, and I get fretful and restless.

I intentionally had nothing planned this weekend. As such, I'm still in bed, slacking. Yay! :)

Heh. At this point after 2 days, I'd be gnawing on the bedsheets -- from unexpressed energy and fidgetyness.

I have gone out - there has just been nothing I've committed to ahead of time. :)

Ya lost me here. Does not making plans in advance mean you have to stay home and do nothing?

I go mad with happiness when I have nothing planned, because my life is so date-book dependent. On this vacation, I'm making my plans from one day to the next. At home, when I have an unexpected night off, I either buy a trashy magazine and take a bubble bath, or meet a friend for the Ancient Jewish Cappucino Ritual.
