patgreene has been coughing up more blood, her doctor thinks it is some kind of thrombosis, and she's been ordered to the emergency room at Stanford. I need overnight childcare if she gets admitted. And no one has told the kids yet about their grandmother.

I am trying to come home early -- the memorial service is Saturday afternoon -- but if Pat's hospitalized... (shakes head).

Oh, yeah, the drill is still broken, too...

I've spoken to Jay, and left VM for Pat, and can do some childcare if they need me to.

As I recall, Thursday is a day that Kevin is only in school until 1, so there could be a need both for someone overnight, as well as for someone for Kevin tomorrow afternoon. I'm not sure about James' band practice this afternoon, and whether there will be anyone to look after the younger two this afternoon.

I'll be home by myself on Saturday night, probably to recover from this impending cold, and would be happy for furry company, if you need a place to send the Terror of Ellis Street while you're down south.
