In Washington now...

For most of this week. So far, so bad. Well, the hotel is nice, but part of my luggage was left by the doorman in the cab from National Airport. And they won't let me have an in-room coffeemaker, so breakfast is shot (can't make instant oatmeal). And I have to go spend $250 on a new navy blazer tomorrow morning, and get the alterations done by Tuesday. And whatever social plans I thought I had here look to be pancaking... maybe I'll just go to Dupont Circle and order pizza tomorrow or Wednesday.

Brian , are you in washington state or washington Dc? if washington state what part? I will be in Seattlke on sunday the 18th and have a 2 hour layover. bleh.

(sigh) Looks like I'll miss you, because I'm in Washington, DC. In any case, I'd be back home by Friday... otherwise, I'd have been willing to meet you at the airport. And thanks for the hug :-).

Sorry about the oatmeal, and the blazer (that one *is* my fault since I failed to pick your other one up at the cleaner's).... At least you have a nice room, for what it's worth. Sorry about your social plans, as well..... Dupont Circle, isn't that over by Georgetown?

Thanks... well, the circle is in the NW quadrant of DC, so it is vaguely near Georgetown...
