Note to self: do not *ever* do *that* again... mix a Merlot table red at dinner with Macallan 12-year Scotch with dessert (Dinner was itself quite enjoyable, BTW)... I have a blinding hangover this morning, easily the worst in a decade. Oooowhh... I didn't even drink that much! We consumed far more Macallan's and Oban per capita after hours on Devon last summer with no ill aftereffects.

Date: 2003-01-20 12:04 pm (UTC)I guess I'm one of the lucky ones who can mix various forms of hard liquor with no ill effects (one memorable time I had Midori, then peppermint schnaps, then tequila), but throw a red wine into the mix and it's hangover city. I've got rather wary of red wine, and now only use it for cooking.
