Another field report

- Soil development is generally poor, although locally, fines have segregated by periglacial processes.
- Patterned ground, in particular rock stripes, is present. Small scale boils (1-10 cm across at surface) with orange-yellowish soil are present.
- Evidence for gelifraction (freeze-thaw fracturing resulting in a typical angular fracturing of rocks) is ubiquitous throughout the site.

How many observations? Conclusions? Hypotheses?

fines?

Where is this anyway?

And do you have a personal website of papers?

"fines" in this case refers to small-diameter soil particles, not monetary punishment. These field surveys were conducted last summer in the high Arctic, at a Mars-analog site on Devon Island, Nunavut.

But I don't have a website or online papers, alas... someday I'll pick up HTML coding and design, but it has never been a priority.
