Less than 48 hours

Until an event that is typically more stressful than an annual performance evaluation... a local poly pool party with 50-100 attendees. Lacking a local date, I've almost always gone alone... and sometimes foundered, without a safety-person there for emotional support. This time, there will also be a few people there that are likely to quietly mock me, whom I'll be avoiding. If it weren't the largest local community event, and I wasn't also starved for higher-energy social space, I might skip it. But I won't... wish me luck.

According to what others have told me, he and 7patches are going contra dancing. OTOH, rmjwell is likely to be there, with his friends. Last weekend, I was actually worried about encountering you, likewise ;-).

At present no one is banned from the event, as publicly stated by the host.

I believe that you're right... I haven't heard of anyone being banned from the event.
