Ethical dilemma

The current administration, undoubtedly trying to continue the process of beatifying IMO one of the worst presidents in US history, has declared the day of the funeral (this Friday, 6/11) to be a Federal holiday. I don't know what to do... I certainly don't want to buy their symbolism. Whether to ignore the day off and come in to work anyway... or possibly I could instead pursue some activity that would horrify the conservative right. More than merely freedom of speech and thought... isn't it Pride weekend in SF?

You could work a casual half-day, and get stuff done without the red-tape folks running around...and then go about personal things on the other half-day...

That's my thoughts...and how I spent confederate memorial day this year...

Good idea -- I may just do something similar, go in for the morning and clean up loose details.
