Ethical dilemma
Jun. 7th, 2004 02:05 pmThe current administration, undoubtedly trying to continue the process of beatifying IMO one of the worst presidents in US history, has declared the day of the funeral (this Friday, 6/11) to be a Federal holiday. I don't know what to do... I certainly don't want to buy their symbolism. Whether to ignore the day off and come in to work anyway... or possibly I could instead pursue some activity that would horrify the conservative right. More than merely freedom of speech and thought... isn't it Pride weekend in SF?

This weekend is Napa Valley Pride (http://www.napapride.org/) though. that could be quite fun!
