Ethical dilemma

The current administration, undoubtedly trying to continue the process of beatifying IMO one of the worst presidents in US history, has declared the day of the funeral (this Friday, 6/11) to be a Federal holiday. I don't know what to do... I certainly don't want to buy their symbolism. Whether to ignore the day off and come in to work anyway... or possibly I could instead pursue some activity that would horrify the conservative right. More than merely freedom of speech and thought... isn't it Pride weekend in SF?

Just enjoy the day off, it doesn't have to Mean Something[tm].

Hey, Friday's also the last day of school, locally... not to mention our next couples therapy appointment, that night.

All the more reason to take a nice, relaxing day off and do something fun beforehand, I'd think.
