In my experience, the type of shoe can be crucial information. Workboots with steel toes can be dangerous in many positions. Flip-flops are unlikely to stay on with any thrashing or flailing.

Hmm... seriously, that's reasonable. Not something I'd thought about before... the only time I've ever had sex with my shoes on was an unplanned quick tryst with a sweetie outdoors, in a maze... and we kept everything on. ;-)

ah, see, I've had sex with shoes on multiple times (shows, doesn't it?). Sex, for me, doesn't *usually* mean PIV, so that does affect the logistics.

However, I will say that someone wearing shoes that are heavy and/or very pointy, should ideally exercise care when wrapping their legs around their sexual partner and should refrain from placing their feet on their sexual partner's shoulders and then exerting pressure.

A pair of high heels firmly planted on the bed works just fine and hiking boots can stay on while on a hike.

Unless Pat wore something early-on in our relationship, I don't think I've ever taken anyone to bed who was (previously) wearing high heels, either... sheltered life, I guess. :)

well, its not original. There is also the "those are really nice jeans...they'd look even better on my floor" variation. Given that the last two people that I've kissed were already naked at the time, though, you can see why I haven't had an opportunity to use that sort of line.

(I'm not sure what the disclosure above says about me. It certainly isn't intended to say that I'm shy about kissing and only get to it rather late in the game. Probably more my tendency to go places where I meet folks who are naked.)

I like the shoe-version better... it is slightly less direct and flirtatious IMO, making an implication (shoes off, bed) rather than directly suggesting the removal of genital clothing coverage... ;-)
